Three massive pieces of news in Spookyland today. Following the enormous success of his studio single The Silly F*** Thing and debut Rock and Roll Weakling we’re very excited to start working with Canvasback Music, who will be working their magic for the North American release of Rock and Roll Weakling. This signing will see our boys join a roster including Alt-J, Frightened Rabbit, The Orwells and more!
Secondly, the Spookyland live show is set to hit the road this August / September. As part of the Rock and Roll Weakling EP Tour, this will mark the band’s first musical venture to Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane. Please visit our gigs page for more details.
Lastly, Spookyland will also be appearing as part of Australia’s largest gathering of music makers and industry alike, Bigsound 2014. The two day festival/conference/showcase brings hundreds of diverse artists from around the country to the Fortitude Valley district in Brisbane, and we’re proud as punch that Spookyland has been invited to make an appearance.
